He married Lulu Melcum Feb. 14, 1917 at the Christian church parsonage in Sigourney and she preceded him in death Apr. 2, 1975. He was also preceded in death by a great grandson, two brothers, Jess and Tom and three sisters, Rilla Ruby, Rose Heninger and Lily Ramey. He is survived by two sons, Raymond and Leonard; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Dora Wisman. Services were March 1 at Holm Funeral home with the Rev. Raymond D.
