CHARLOTTE OSTERHAUS. Mrs. Charlotte Osterhaus, 85, died at her home at Petersburg, Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held from the home to SS Peter and Paul Church, Petersburg, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Osterhaus was born in Reading, PA, Feb. 9, 1860, a daughter of August and Charlotte Forester. She is survived by five sons, Henry and Joseph, both of Bloomington, Wis.; Frank, Petersburg, IA.; Matt, Dubuque, IA., and Al, Dyersville, IA; six daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Krapfl, Mrs. Henry Bohlke, and Martha, all of Dyersville; Mrs. Henry Wegmann, Bloomington, WIs., and Mrs. Joseph Bagge and Mrs. Joseph Witte, both of Petersburg, IA; five sisters; Mrs. John Dreir, Boone, IA; Mrs. John Willenbring, Dyersville; and Mrs. Henry Kramer, Mrs. Anton Warborg, and Mrs. Bernard Bohlke, all of Remson, IA; 63 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, two sisters and one brother."
