Description	:	Mrs. Lottie Deskin Dies Tuesday Mrs. Lottie Deskin died Tuesday at the Bakers Nursing home where she had been a patient since November 6. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in charge of Beardsley funeral chapel. Burial will be made at Cincinnati, Iowa. Chariton Herald Patriot, Chariton, Iowa, Thursday, January 17, 1946, page 6 Charlotte Jane Deskin Charlotte Jane Deskin, daughter of Peter and Sarah Sparks, was born at Unionville, Mo., February 20, 1876, and passed away at the Baker Nursing home January 15, 1946, at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 15 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Charles, and six children by a former marriage, four daughters, Mrs. Charles Oswalt, of Chicago; Mrs. Guy Rohrer, of Morro Bay, Calif.; Mrs. William Jenkins, of Adel; Mrs. James Vairo, of Williamson; and two sons, Harry McFarland, of Williamson, and George McFarland, of San Diego, Calif. She also leaves 30 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was baptized in the Baptist church. She was a loving mother, always willing to lend a helping hand to the sick and needy. She will be sadly missed by a host of friends and neighbors who loved one so worthy. Funeral services were held Friday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m. at the Beardsley funeral chapel with the Rev. E. F. Partridge in charge. Burial was made at Cincinnati, Iowa.
