Description	:	Charlotte and husband Augustus Antone Goochey were early pioneers of Dawson County. She married Gus Goochey on 10 Mar 1889; they raised 13 children: Mary, Nettie May, Myrtle, Gussie, Adelaide 'Addie', Ida, William, Lillie, Harold, Cecil, Beryl, Orthwest 'Ord', and Florence. Her parents were Joseph Herriman and Mary Ann Crawford. At the time of her death she was preceeded by 9 of her children and her husband. Survivors were two sons, Byrul and William Goochey, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Starks and Mrs. May Adams; 34 grandchildren, 108 great grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren. Charlotte was partially deaf from childhood, but she didn't let it hold her back. She baked bread which was their commodity for use in trade with the Indians. She is buried just South of her husbands plot.
