Description	:	Charlotte Louise Wiuff was born June 7, 1864 near Hadersleu, Denmark, and came to America April 4, 1880 and spent a year st Gibson City, Illinois. June 7, 1881 she was united in marriage to John Domingo, who had come to Nebraska that spring, accompanied by his brother, Jacob. They were seeking a place in this new country to establish a home. Both bought farms two and a half miles northeast of Weeping Water, and Mr. and Mrs. John Domingo remained on that farm for thirty-one years or until the tragic accident, which left their son Jessie... June 7, 1881 she was united in marriage to John Domingo, who had come to Nebraska that spring, accompanied by his brother, Jacob. They were seeking a place in this new country to establish a home. Both bought farms two and a half miles northeast of Weeping Water, and Mr. and Mrs. John Domingo remained on that farm for thirty-one years or until the tragic accident, which left their son Jessie crippled for the remainder of his life. They built a fine home in Weeping Water and moved into town in the year of 1913. Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Domingo. Jessie, their oldest son died December 17, 1937. His death followed a few months after the death of his father, which occurred February 13, 1936. Mrs. Domingo was beloved by all who knew her. Her untiring devotion to her crippled son, her devotion to her church, and her unfailing hospitality brought many people to her home, who treasured her friendship throughout the years. She had been failing in health for several months, but had been much worse since Christmas. She died, at her home, January 19, 1945. Surviving are one son, George Domingo, Weeping Water, and two daughters, Mrs. J. Leslie Wiles and Mrs. Homer Jameson, both of Weeping Water. One brother, James Wiuff, Humbolt, Iowa. Her only sister, Mrs. Neilsine Johnson, died less than a month ago, December 22, 1944. She also leaves six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Domingo has been an active member of the Weeping Water Woman's club for many years. She was active in the Woman's Association of the Congregational church, and was a member of the Cheer-A-Bit club, who helped prepare the dinner at the home preceding the funeral services at the Congregational church Sunday afternoon. Rev. John H. Pryor, pastor of the church was in charge of the services. Hobson's funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Plattsmouth Journal Thursday, January 256, 1945
