Charlotte was born April 11, 1932, in Bozeman to Dorothy Lucille Webb Martin and Harold J. Martin. Charlotte was a fourth-generation Montanan and great-granddaughter to pioneer Harry Morgan, rumored to be the first white man born in Montana Territory. Read More	On Sunday, March 13, 2011, Charlotte Marie Martin Frick peacefully passed from this world to the next. Charlotte was born April 11, 1932, in Bozeman to Dorothy Lucille Webb Martin and Harold J. Martin. Charlotte was a fourth-generation Montanan and great-granddaughter to pioneer Harry Morgan, rumored to be the first white man born in Montana Territory. Charlotte spent most of her childhood living in Three Forks, with Grandma and Grandpa Johnston and her sister and lifelong best friend, Dorothy. As a teenager she was an excellent horsewoman and led the Three Forks Rodeo parade. On Dec. 7, 1949, she married Rodney Frick in Bozeman. They shared their life together until his passing in 2006 - almost 56 years together. They were a great team. Charlotte was a champion flower gardener, and found great joy working with plants. She spent many hours volunteering at Headwaters Heritage Museum, adding special touches. She volunteered and attended the United Methodist Church for most of her life. She worked hard and never expected anything in return. She was all about doing the right thing. Charlotte was preceded in death by both parents; her son, Dale; and her husband, Rodney. She has a large family to carry on her hard-working values for many years to come. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Pishkin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; children, Jeryl (Andy) Fuchs of Chehalis, Wash., Dan (Gina) Frick of Three Forks, Janice (Garry) Tyrrell of Calgary, Alberta, and Jody (Edd) Gryder of Bozeman; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all a great source of pride for her. Charlotte also leaves behind a loving extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews who enriched and supported her life. A special heartfelt thanks to Edgewood Vista in Belgrade. Her friends at Edgewood treated her with extraordinary kindness, dignity and respect throughout her Alzheimer's journey. Rocky Mountain Hospice also helped make her final days on earth comfortable and peaceful. Thank you. Donations may be made to Headwaters Heritage Museum, or to the Alzheimer's Association . The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at K&L Mortuary in Three Forks, with a gathering afterward at the United Methodist Church annex.
