Read More	Charlton Hal Blakely, 59, husband of Ann Poston Blakely and son of Rembert and Delores Sports Blakely, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House. Mr. Blakely was born May 9, 1958, in Georgetown. He was a 1976 graduate of Andrews Academy and was an employee with Nucor Steel. He was a member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He volunteered as a Little League Coach for Georgetown County in baseball and basketball for over 20 years. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, faithful son, and a loyal friend. He loved spending time with his family and brought a smile to everyone. Charlton and Ann were married May 30, 1981, and celebrated 36 years together. He was survived by three children, Taylor B. (Brandon) Horne, Hal (Brenda Mitchell) Blakely, and Braxton Blakely; five grandchildren, Madelyn, Hayden, Kaden, Haley, and Aurbree; his mother, Delores Sports Blakely; a sister, Valarie Blakely; faather-in-law, Walter Allen Poston and his mother-in-law, Shelvia Jean Taylor Poston; two brothers-in-law, Allen (Robin) Poston and Ricky (Beth) Poston; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Rembert Blakely. Funeral services were Thursday, September 7, 2017, in Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. Dean Baber officiated. Burial followed in Andrews Memorial Cemetery. The Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home assisted the family.
