Description	:	Charolette M. Liesinger, 87, of Kearney died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Charolette was born Jan. 13, 1923, at the family farm at Buckeye Valley northwest of Gibbon to Everett and Flossie (Shaner) Shiers. On Sept. 10, 1941, she married Wilbur Liesinger in Green River, Wyo. He died in 1981. Survivors are: daughters, Cheyrl Beck and her husband, Terry, of Branson, Mo., and Deb Vavra and her husband, Mick, of Kearney; sons, Terry Liesinger and Mark Liesinger and his wife, Lisa, all of Kearney; grandchildren, Chase Liesinger, Riley Liesinger, Jeff Ahrens, Jodi Maurtella, Randy Johannsen, Tami Johannsen, Danny... On Sept. 10, 1941, she married Wilbur Liesinger in Green River, Wyo. He died in 1981. Survivors are: daughters, Cheyrl Beck and her husband, Terry, of Branson, Mo., and Deb Vavra and her husband, Mick, of Kearney; sons, Terry Liesinger and Mark Liesinger and his wife, Lisa, all of Kearney; grandchildren, Chase Liesinger, Riley Liesinger, Jeff Ahrens, Jodi Maurtella, Randy Johannsen, Tami Johannsen, Danny Johannsen, Michael Vavra, Jason Vavra, Ben Vavra, Billi Jo Vavra, Kim Bush and Kelli Mason; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Janice Carter of Wood River. She grew up and attended school in the Gibbon area. She and Wilbur farmed in the Gibbon area, and she also worked at Eaton Corp. She moved to Kearney in 1983. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Gibbon and was a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the B.P.O. Does. She enjoyed spending time with and hearing from relatives, especially her grandchildren, and Nebraska football. She liked playing bingo. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandsons, Scott and Lance Liesinger; seven brothers; and three sisters. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon.
