Description	:	Chase James Garland, 90, of Lynchburg, formerly of Partlow in Spotsylvania County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Heritage Green in Lynchburg surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Garland had retired from the F.M.C. plant. He was a former member of Spotsylvania Fire Department #3. Mr. Garland enjoyed farming and working in the garden. He had previously played fiddle for many years in a country band. He was a caregiver to all and loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lou Garland.
