Carr, 63, died on February 3, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Campus in Delphi, IN. She was born on March 10, 1958 in Calumet City, IL to Ray Poczos and Diane (Jurgilus) Poczos. Cheryl used to love and enjoy bowling and was very involved in Youth League Bowling for several years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Cheryl made the best spaghetti, lasagna and homemade egg rolls. She enjoyed being very involved in all the activities in Monticello. Most of all and most importantly, Cheryl was the world's best grandmother and mother. She is survived by her parents; two daughters; one stepson; nine grandchildren; three sisters; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Kevin Poczos; granddaughter, Megan N. Beach; and grandson, Karter McCutchen. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Rev. Benji Riddle of the Monticello Christian Church will officiate. Burial will take place in IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
