She was the last of 10 children. Tami attended the Roundup School System. She was the last of 10 children. Tami attended the Roundup School System. During the years of her youth, she was very active in "Climbing Creekers" 4-H club, playing and watching basketball, especially the Celtics and drill team. Her hobbies included taking care of her own herd of Suffolk sheep, helping her Dad around the ranch. She loved fishing and camping with her family, monster truck rallies, her Plymouth Duster car, rock and roll concerts, as well as hanging with friends. She really had a bond with her dogs, Shasta and JT, her last ones. Spring of 1988, Tami's life changed drastically, she was in a serious automobile accident, where she was burned and suffered a severe brain injury. Tami was in a coma for seven weeks, later to have physical therapy for another eight months, before returning home on hand crutches. She was a fighter to the end. Tami, once again, at home on the ranch she turned to her "4-wheeler" as her legs to get around the ranch. Tami used it to visit the neighbors, as well as the daily visit to the river to let her dog go for his daily swims, and picking up the mail for her Mom. She loved riding in the rain. She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Gary and Doug, and her father, Jerry, as well as both sets of grandparents. Survived by mother, Margaret, of the family home in Roundup; sisters, Dyan Goffena, Shirley Lambert, Nancy Bolduc and Karen McCleary; brothers, David, Kenneth and Steve Goffena; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m., Sept. 11 at St Benedicts Church in Roundup, and funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Sept. 12 at the church with luncheon after burial.
