Born in Lake Ramsay, New Ross, he was a son of the late Newton and Ethel (Keddy) Turner. He was employed in the forestry and sawmill industry during his lifetime, and was also a sub-ranger with the Department of Lands and Forests for several years. He was a member of Christ Anglican Church, New Ross and the Canadian Order of Foresters. Lindsay Funeral Chapel, New Ross, from 7-9 p.m. today with funeral service to be held in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, on Friday, March 18, at 2 p.m., Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Baptist Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Christ Anglican Church General Fund or Shoreham Village Bus Fund.
