Eubank and Anna Nyswonger OBITUARY THE CHARITON HERALD-PATRIOT Chariton, Iowa Thursday, June 13, 1968 EUBANK - Chester Arthur Eubank, son of William T. and Anna Nyswonger Eubank, was born April 3, 1886 at New Madison, Ohio and passed away June 2, 1968 at Lucas County Memorial Hospital after having reached the age of 82 years, one month and 29 days. He was raised and educated in Ohio and came to this area as a young man. On February 24, 1909, he was united in marriage to the former Ida Duntley. From this union five children were born, four of whom survive. They are: Raymond Eubank and Max Eubank, both of Lucas; Mrs. Walter L. (Ada) Wilkinson, of Reinbeck; and Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) Roberts of Woodburn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edna Overbeck, of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one small daughter, Wanda; four brothers, John Eubank, Harless Eubank, Raymond Eubank, and William Eubank; three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Brawley, Mrs. Grace Kaiser, and Mrs. Alma Rosier. He has been a prominent Norwood area farmer for many years. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a good neighbor and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services were conducted from the Miley & Brueggemann Chapel on Wednesday June 5, 1968, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. L. W. Mendenhall officiating. Interment was in the Fletcher Cemetery. Obituary courtesy of Charles M. Wright
