The body was taken to Vevay, where funeral rites were held at the Haskell & Morrison funeral home this afternoon. Several brothers and sisters are the immediate survivors. Craig had gone to Indianapolis earlier in the week for a check-up on his diabetes. Released from the Robert Long hospital Friday, he had headed toward Vevay presumably picking up rides from motorists headed south on State Road 29. It is believed that he became ill while traveling on the highway and had gone to the woods to rest, when the diabetic coma developed.
