Description	:	Chester (Chet) Graber, 74, of Lennox, SD, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his home following a brief illness. Chet was born July 16, 1941 to Rumie R. and Emma (Schrag) Graber. He graduated from Marion High School in 1959 and from Southern State College in Springfield, SD in 1963. He married Carol Wentzel on August 30, 1962. They lived in Viborg for several years, where Chet had a television repair shop. Read More	Chester (Chet) Graber, 74, of Lennox, SD, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his home following a brief illness. Chet was born July 16, 1941 to Rumie R. and Emma (Schrag) Graber. He graduated from Marion High School in 1959 and from Southern State College in Springfield, SD in 1963. He married Carol Wentzel on August 30, 1962. They lived in Viborg for several years, where Chet had a television repair shop. When he had the opportunity to become an electronics instructor at the Mitchell Area Vocational Technical School in 1969, the family moved there. Chet taught for 27 years, serving as department head for many years. He retired in 1997. He and Carol moved to an acreage south of Lennox in 1998. He did part-time work installing sound systems in high school gyms, churches, football fields and at Thunder Valley Speedway (sometimes with the help of his brother-in-law, Lawrence Wentzel). Chet also enjoyed working on old console radios and car radios. Chet and Carol had three children: daughters Pamela (Phil) Ryan and Tracee (Gregory) Shevlin, and son Steven (Jaclyn), and four grandchildren Donal Ryan, Michael Shevlin, and Jared and Grant Graber.
