He was united in marriage to Francella E. Burnett at West Liberty, Ia., July 28, 1902, who preceded him to the Great Beyond, October 22, 1905. Read More	COLEMAN, CHESTER E.—was born May 16, 1872, near Greenwood, Cass Co., Neb., and died in Geneva, Fillmore Co. Neb., Sunday, October 10, 1915, aged 43 years 4 months, and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Francella E. Burnett at West Liberty, Ia., July 28, 1902, who preceded him to the Great Beyond, October 22, 1905. To this union were born two sons, Edwin Leland, who died at Geneva February 6, 1903, and Oscar Linton, aged eleven, who survives. On July 1, 1908, he was united in marriage to Miss Catherine Neider, who survives him. To this union were born three sons, Vernon, aged six years; Floyd, aged three years; and Marion aged eight months. Besides his immediate family, he leaves his aged father, M.L. Coleman; two brothers, Will and John, all of Geneva; and a host of other relatives and friends. He united with the Christian church at Geneva, Neb., in 1893. He was a member of the Geneva A.O.U.W. lodge. The funeral took place from the Christian church in Geneva at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, and was conducted by Rev. E.M. Johnson, chaplain of the state prison at Lincoln, a former pastor of the Geneva Christian church, and a personal friend of the deceased. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery. Among those who came from out of town to attend the funeral were: W.G. Cheuvront of Lincoln; George Pierson Green of Greenwood, William Coleman of Greenwood, Mrs. Lizzie Barnum of Dickens; and Mr. and Mrs. Gus McNurlin of Lushton. The Nebraska Signal October 14th, 1915 page 4. The following has been contributed by Find a Grave member, Peggy Bargen Duey: Chester E. Coleman, nephew of Alvin Galley of this place, was found dead at the electric light plant in Geneva, where he was employed, on Sunday morning last. It is presumed that Dr. Coleman came in contact with a live wire and was electrocuted. Just how long he had been dead when found is not known.
