Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William H. Phillips, the Rev. Dwight Morgan, and the Rev. Carl Clary officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Binnicker was born in Norway, a son of the late George W. Binnicker and Sallie Lee Binnicker. He attended the University of South Carolina. He was a retired supervisor of Health Physics from DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. He formerly owned and operated the Orange Branch Shooting Preserve. Mr. Binnicker was a former dairy farmer and a member of Willow Swamp Baptist Church. He was an associate member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Aldergate Sunday School Class, former member of the Administrative Board of the Church, former Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Men's Club of the church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by four brothers, George LeRoy Binnicker, W. Woodrow Binnicker, Rhodum Doyle Binnicker and Marvin L. Binnicker; and a sister, Jimmie Lou Garrick. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Weathers Binnicker of the home; stepson, Francis Carroll Yongue of Taylors; stepdaughter, Mrs. Clark (Virginia Ann) Runager of Orangeburg; two brothers, Mabry Binnicker of North Myrtle Beach and William F. 'Bill' Binnicker of Norway; sister, Mrs. Margie B. Antley of Lancaster; one grandson, Christopher Charles Yongue of Taylors; and three step grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. At other times friends may call Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg and at the residence. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 1980 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115, or to Willow Swamp Baptist Church, 1956 Willow Swamp Road, Norway, SC 29113.
