Mr. Wix was born March 17, 1966 in Union, a son of Patricia Mosier Sumner and the late Danny Wix. He was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Steve Wix and wife Shannon of Jonesville; a sister, Carol Haskett and husband Jerry of Jonesville; three stepsisters, Katherine Fore and husband Sam of Texas, Sherrie Sumner Tucker and husband Wallace of Union, and Jessica Sumner of Spartanburg; a special great-niece, Bayleigh Hollis; a special grandson, Cayden Wynn; special friends, Angela and Larry Miller, Angelica Jones, and Paul Williams; nieces and nephews: Chad Wix and wife Ashley, Allison Garner and husband Bronson, Kari Jennings, Adam Jennings, Roger Willard, Jr. and wife Joann, Michael Sumner, Analeigh Tucker, Helana Akins and Bristol O'Shields; and great-nieces and nephews are Shandi Wix, C.J. Wix, Abbey Wix, Haiden Jennings and Tru Jennings. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Nathan Sumner. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Dr. Glenn Mosteller. Burial will follow at the Sumner Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R.
