Description	:	Word was received here last week of the death of Christian Dufloth of Aberdeen, on Monday, August 27, following a year's illness. He was 80 years old at the time of death. The deceased resided in and near Java until about five years ago when he and his wife went to Aberdeen to make their home with their daughter. Christian Dufloth was born September 27, 1855 at Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia where he was raised to young manhood and married to Johanna Hindemith. Read More	Word was received here last week of the death of Christian Dufloth of Aberdeen, on Monday, August 27, following a year's illness. He was 80 years old at the time of death. The deceased resided in and near Java until about five years ago when he and his wife went to Aberdeen to make their home with their daughter. Christian Dufloth was born September 27, 1855 at Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia where he was raised to young manhood and married to Johanna Hindemith. In 1902, they came with their family to the United States, settling at Java where they resided until five years ago, when because of failing health they went to make their home with a daughter, Mrs. Fred Schwabe of Aberdeen. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, Johanna Dufloth; two sons, Fred Dufloth of Terry, Mont., and Adam Dufloth of Aberdeen; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Schwabe of Aberdeen, and Mrs. Katherine Flaig of Victor, Calif.; thirty grandchildren and one great grandchild. A daughter preceded him in death about eighteen years ago. Funeral services were held last Thursday morning at ten o'clock at the Huebl Funeral chapel with Rev. L. A. Westenberger of the Zion Lutheran church at Aberdeen, officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside cemetery at Aberdeen. Mrs. Cuno Hansen and Mrs. L. A. Westenberger sang two duets at the services. Pall bearers were: George Dobb, Fred Most, Edgar Meier, Christ Wahl, Wm. Warner and John Rosin. The Herald extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives in their hour of sorrow.
