Christian died October 26, 1816 and Catherine died June 28, 1831 and both are buried in Locust Valley south of Middletown MD. Christians wife Catherine Grossnickle was the daughter of immigrant Johannes "Hans" Grossnickle who arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Nancy in 1738.
