Description	:	Christian Stutzman, who lived with his grandchildren seven miles southwest of Aurora died on Thursday Feb 13. The cause of death was general debility brought on by old age. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania eighty-two years ago; he came to Hamilton county ten years ago. Four children, all sons, survive him; Peter, of Buffalo County; Henry of Seward, and Joseph and Jess of Hamilton. He also leaves three grandchildren, Monroe, Elizabeth, and Moses Burcky, whose mother died a few years ago, and with whom he was making his home at the time of his death. The cause of death was general debility brought on by old age. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania eighty-two years ago; he came to Hamilton county ten years ago. Four children, all sons, survive him; Peter, of Buffalo County; Henry of Seward, and Joseph and Jess of Hamilton. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the home at one o'clock and at the church at two o'clock. Deceased was a member of the Mennonite church, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The young people's meeting of the Prairie Gem church last Sunday evening, mindful of the virtues of the deceased, passed resolutions of sympathy for the bereaved relatives. The Aurora Sun February 26, 1909 Obituary found by JM King Note: CHRISTIAN J. STUTZMAN, farmer, on Section 5, Town 9, Range 3 east, P. O. Milford, was born in Holmes County, Ohio, in April 1827. He remained on the old homestead in Ohio, and never moved till he came to Nebraska, which was in 1876. On his arrival here, he settled on the place where he now lives, and owns eighty acres of land. The subject of this sketch was married in Ohio, in 1852, to Miss Elizabeth Mast, by whom he has eight living children--Moses C., Sarah, Peter, Jonathan, Joas, Henry, Joseph and Malinda.
