He moved to Hocking County, Ohio with his family (John & Catherine Keasey, 2 brothers and 3 sisters before 1818, when his mother died there. He was married in Hocking County 17 December 1825 to Elizabeth Rhodes. The family appears on the Fairfield County, Ohio census in 1830 and 1840.
