Description	:	CHRIST ROTH, 86, CLAIMED BY DEATH Christ Roth, 86, father of Mrs. Jacob Diede, 407 South Eighth St., died at the Diede home at 9 a.m. Saturday from complications of old age. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Burial will be made early next week following services at the Webb Brothers Funeral chapel but the exact day has not yet been set. Mr. Roth was born February 22, 1848 in south Russia. In 1905 he came to America moving directly to Bismarck where he lived three years. His wife died in 1907 and Mr. Roth took up a homestead near Glen Ullin where he remained until 1930. In that year he came back to this city and has remained here since with his daughter and son-in-law. Besides his daughter here he leaves another daughter, Mrs. Ludvig Hirsch of Lodi, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Fredrick Zimmer of Glen Ullin, eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Christ Roth Funeral Services Held Monday Funeral services for Christ Roth, 86-year-old father of Mrs. Jacob Deide of this city, were held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, at the Webb Brothers Funeral chapel. Rev. F. J. Doyen, pastor of the Linton Lutheran church, officiated at the services. Mr. Roth was a member of Rev. Doyen's congregation 25 years ago. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery.
