Hoffman will officiate. Burial is to be in Ridge cemetery. The Fred Bader funeral home is in charge. Christiana Friedericka Wisslicen was born Aug. 5, 1866 in Steinenbronn, Germany. She came to Fremont with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wisslicen in March 1880, and was married to John Launer Nov. 9, 1884 by Rev. Hilgendorf of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Launer celebrated their 61 wedding anniversary Nov. 9. Mrs. Launer was confirmed in the Lutheran faith before coming to the United States and both she and Mr. Launer were charter members of the Trinity Lutheran church of Fremont. She was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are her husband, twelve children, John Launer of Omaha, Carl Launer, Mrs. Albert Weihe, Albert Launer, and Walter Launer of Fremont, Mrs. George Borcher of Scribner, G. Fred Launer and Dr. Luther Launer of Grand Island, Otto Launer, Lincoln, Mrs. R. D. Lunan, North Bend and Ernest Launer and Mrs. Frank Parker of San Diego, Calif.; 30 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Wisslicen, Fremont, Mrs. S. A. Wassum, Tekamah.
