Description	:	Christie was born in PEI, the daughter of 'Donald' John McClure and Mary MacKenzie. Her father was from Brackley Point, PEI. Her mother was from French River, PEI. The family moved to Blue Mound, Dane co., Wisconsin. Other members of their extended family of McKenzies and McClures moved either to farms nearby in either Dane or Iowa counties, Wisconsin. The 1850-1860s the family lived in Blue Mounds, Dane co., Wisconsin, and later in Ridgeway, Iowa co, Wisconsin. These are within the 'family stamping-ground'. The 1870 census for Sarpy, Nebraska shows her boarding with a local family. Her occupation is listed as "School-teacher".... Willard died in an epidemic that also took 3 of their children. Other children may have died before 1883. By 1900, both Christy Fisher and Mary MacKenzie McClure, her mother, were widows. They shared a home in Papillion, Sarpy, Nebraska. 1910 - We find Christy recorded as being part of the household of her sister Annabell Whitman, back in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. 1917 -She was visiting her relatives in Chicago when she passed away.
