FRED REINHARDT DIES Christina, wife of Fred Reinhardt of Dutch Flats, died at the hospital in Gering Monday evening, Aug. 12, following an operation for tumor from which she was reported as recovering. She was aged 43 years. The children are Earl, Carl and Helen, the first one named being now a soldier of the United States at Camp Dodge, Iowa. The bereaved husband and children have the sincere sympathy of all. The funeral will be held this afternoon (August 15) at the church on Dutch Flats, conducted by Rev. Houska was born July 24, 1873, near David City, Nebraska, and died August 12, 1918, at Gering, Nebraska, aged 45 yrs., 19 das. She was married to Fred Reinhardt March 14, 1894. To this union three children were born: Carl, Earl W., and Helen M. Carl and Helen reside at home. Earl lately entered the military service of his country and is at Camp Dodge, Iowa. Besides these Mrs. Reinhardt leaves to mourn their loss, two sisters, a brother and aged mother. Mrs. Reinhardt was early associated with the Catholic church. However, in November, 1914, she was converted in a meeting held in the community and came into membership in the Dutch Flats M.E. church. Here she remained a devoted and faithful member, always sharing her time in carrying on the work of the church. She was a faithful member of the Ladies’ Aid Society. Mrs. Reinhardt was a good neighbor. Although suffering much of the time she was cheerful and tried to cheer up the lives of others. As a mother she was devoted and consecrated to the cares of her family, endeavoring to live a good life before them and teaching her children the ways of right. She loved the home life and it was her expressed desire in her recent sickness to be at home in a few days. She had recently gone to the Gering Hospital for treatment and seemed to improving rapidly. Monday eveing, about 9:30 o’clock, she became suddenly worse and passed away in a few moments. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ray M. Baker in the Dutch Flats M.E. church. Interment was in the Morrill cemetery. __ CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our gratitude to the friends and neighbors for the kindnesses tendered us during these days of bereavement. FRED REINHARDT Word was received by relatives here this week of the death of Mrs. Fred Reinhardt of Mitchell, Nebraska. She died on August 13, at the Aring hospital in Mitchell, of heart failure. She was 45 years of age, and leaves to mourn her death a husband, two sons and one daughter. Mrs. Reinhardt was born near Abie, this county, and grew to womanhood in the county. After her marriage they lied in David City for a number of years, but about eleven years ago moved to near Mitchell where they took up a homestead and have since resided there. Mr. Reinhardt is a brother of L. C. Reinhardt of this city, and has many friends here who extend their sincere sympathy to him and the children in their great loss.
