She removed to the U.S. in 1858, and two years later was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Strohman. There were born to this union six children who were all with her at the time of her death. She early in life united with the German Lutheran Church to which faith she was true until the last. Death came on Wednesday, October 8th at six p.m., as a relief from the many months of suffering. There survive to mourn their loss six children. seventeen grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Strohman having preceded her in death 20 years ago.
