Mrs. Grote was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion, a 50 Year Member of Chapter 183, O.E.S., and a member of the Milwaukee Railroad Womens Club. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Benita Smith of Mairon, one granddaughter; four great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Ne???wander of Remsen, Ia. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Jean P. Hunter officiating.
