A. Abts Mrs. P. A. Abts died at her home in Sioux City, Iowa, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1907, aged 33 years and 3 days, after an illness of about one year. Remains were brought to David City on Thursday evening accompanied by her mother Mrs. Wm Litjens, sister Tillie Litjens, husband and his sister Mrs. Suffle. Funeral Services were held in St. Frances Catholic church in Center, Saturday at 10 o'clock Rev. Father McKenna conducting the services. Mrs. Abts was a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Wm Litjens of Center township where deceased was born and grew to womanhood. In 1895 she was married to P. A. Abts, having resided in Sioux City for several years. To this union were born four children, two of whom are dead and two living, aged 3 and 11 years. The Banner joins the many friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved husband, children and relatives. May he who doeth all things well comfort them in their sad bereavement.
