Description	:	Christina Plants, daughter of George and Catherine (Stollar) Plants Obituary: Christina Plants was born in Washington county, Penn., on June 13, 1833, where she lived until six years ago when she came to Iowa. She died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Rachel Hoffman, three miles east of Moravia, where she had made her home for some time past, on April 8th, 1914, aged 80 years, 9 months, and 25 days. Read More	Christina Plants, daughter of George and Catherine (Stollar) Plants Obituary: Christina Plants was born in Washington county, Penn., on June 13, 1833, where she lived until six years ago when she came to Iowa. She died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Rachel Hoffman, three miles east of Moravia, where she had made her home for some time past, on April 8th, 1914, aged 80 years, 9 months, and 25 days. On June 30th, 1862, she was united in marriage to John Kimble who died May 11, 1880 -- on July 5th, 1875, she was again united in marriage with Isaac Earnest who also preceded her in death. She was the mother of seven children all of whom have died except one, Owen Kimble of Albia, Iowa. When a young girl she joined the Church of God of which she remained a faithful member until the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted at the house on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, April 10, by Rev. J. Stanley Decker, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment in the Moravia Cemetery.
