Launer, died at her home at 645 North Logan street early Thursday morning following an illness of more than two years. Mrs. Launer was born in Germany and was married there in 1877 to Mr. Launer. Three years later, in 1880, they came to Fremont and have resided 51 years in this city. Surviving are her husband, two sons, John, of Fremont, and Rudolph, of Council Bluffs, and one daughter, Margaret, of Fremont. Funeral services will be held at the Fred Bader Funeral Home Friday morning at 11 o’clock. The services will be in German. Rev. Amyi Just will officiate. Burial will be made in Ridge cemetery. ____ July 3, 1931, p. 3, col. 5 & 6 Launer Funeral – Funeral services for the late Mrs. Christina Rosena Launer held Friday morning at 11 o’clock at the Fred Bader Funeral Home were conducted entirely in German, Rev. Amyl Just officiating. Roland Saeger, vocalist, was accompanied at the organ by G. G. Grefe. Pallbearers were: R. M. Herre, Herman Godel, Charles Balduff, Ernest Hahn, Julius Janowski and Carl Fritz, Sr. Burial was made in Ridge cemetery.
