Description	:	Mrs. Christina Bertsch was born in Odessa, Russia, on Feb. 27, 1883. Eleven years later she moved with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Sayler, to South Dakota, U.S.A. "Grandma Bertsch", as she was affectionally called, was married near Venturia, North Dakota to Mr. Christian Bertsch Dec. 14th, 1902 where they established their home. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior two years after her marriage and was baptized the same year. She raised nineteen children with six of them preceding her in death. On August 8, 1966 Grandma Bertsch passed on in the Drumheller General Hospital.
