| Description | : | Christina Niessen was the first wife of Emil F. Leckband. She was born in Shleswig-Holstein, Germany. After emigrating to the USA she married Emil F. Leckband on Feb 19, 1885 in Adair, Iowa. Three children were born of this union. In 1891 Emil went to accompany his brother who was returning to Iowa after recovering from typhoid fever in Louisiana.
