Christine's family moved to Iowa in 1980. She graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1991. Christine worked with her mother Kathy at the "Fort Madison Spirits" wholesale/retail store from 1997 to 2001. Christine obtained her Bachelor Degree with Double Majors in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She married Bruce Alan Niggemeyer in Fort Madison, Iowa, February 14, 1998. They had two children together. A son, Grant and a daughter, Kinnedy who were the greatest joys of her life. Christine always looked forward to family gatherings, photography and collaboration on the family history. She created numerous hardback ancestry books to keep her family history alive. Christine worked 15 years as Fort Madison Community School District's Truancy Officer. She was the first female to hold the position. Christine served on several Board of Directors, including ADDS, Casebine Credit Union, Aspen Cemetery Board in Burlington, Iowa and was appointed by the Governor of Iowa, to the Autism Council in Des Moines, Iowa, May of 2017. Christine was as a Reserve Police Officer for the Fort Madison Police Department for 7 years. She was a member of SS. Mary and Joseph Church in Fort Madison, Iowa. She married her true love William "Bill" Bowker on October 10, 2010, in Fort Madison, Iowa. Christine continued her education receiving a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and became a Registered Behavioral Technician. Christine then completed her training to become a certified Mediator. She has one brother, Terry Deon King. Christine is a Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR). Her 7th Great-Grandfather Brigadier General Rufus Putnam on her paternal side of the family.
