Christine Dozark was born on March 16, 1892, in Crawford County, Ia., a daughter of Chris and Wilhelmina Otto Nissen. She married William Dozark on November 1, 1911, in Crawford County. They were the parents of a son. A homemaker and a hotel manager for many years, she had been a resident of the Denison Care Center for the past several years. Survivors include a son, Melvin, of Denison; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Anna Koch of Boyer, Ia., Louise (Mrs. Russell) Westcott of Hawarden, Ia., and Mrs. Elsie Neumann of Kiron, Ia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, in 1972; two sisters, Frieda and Amanda; and four brothers: William, John, Edward and Marvin.
