Description	:	"DROWNED.—GEORGE[sic] APPLETON, one of the pupils of the Deaf and Dumb Asylum, aged about 10 years, was drowned in the river on Saturday last, whilst bathing. His body was recovered too late for resuscitation. His funeral was attended on Sabbath last, by the Officers and Pupils of the Asylum, and a large number of citizens."
