He was a devoted Christian family man who cherished time shared with each of his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. Read More	January 31, 1963 ~ August 27, 2021 (age 58) Christopher David Sweatt was born January 31, 1963, son of the late Charles Sweatt, Jr., and Joyce Vivian Smith Sweatt of Marlboro County, South Carolina. He was a devoted Christian family man who cherished time shared with each of his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. Chris was the friendly face of Advanced Auto Parts working many years as the store manager. He was a faithful member of the Springfield Church of God where he served as a Sunday school teacher, usher and he loved singing in the church choir. After attending Clemson University, Chris became a true "BIG" fan of the Clemson Tigers. He loved all sports and enjoyed time spent coaching the youth. During his quiet time, he enjoyed studying the Bible and cooking for the family. Chris passed to his Heavenly home at the age of 58 on August 27. 2021. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Sweatt III. He is survived by his wife loving wife, Sammie Kay McCormick Sweatt of their home in Laurinburg; sons, Samuel "Mackie" McKenzie (Aaryn) of Enon, OH, William A. Hunsucker (Amanda) of Laurel Hill, Kelly L. Hunsucker (Belinda Smiling) of Gibson; brother, Mike Sweatt ( Ann ) of Columbia, SC; sister, Lisa Bailey of Bennettsville, SC; and was a loving Papa to seven grandchildren, Madison, Kaden Jackson, Mavin, Micah, Macoy, Ella Rose, and Winston. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and a host of loving family and many friends. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Springfield Church of God Family Life Center officiated by P.J. Hunt and Mike Sweatt. Burial will follow the service in Hillside Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be prior to services beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Family Life Center.
