Description	:	Lee passed away in the early morning hours on July 15th. He was born Christopher Lee Osborn on February 3, 1918 in Savoy, Illinois to George and Margaret (Murphy) Osborn. The family moved to Yakima in 1928 where he met his future wife, Fawn Cox. They were married in Yakima on May 17th, 1941 and moved to Buckley in 1945. There they raised their three children, building lasting memories of camping, outings with friends, dancing, and large family dinners and gatherings as the family grew. He was born Christopher Lee Osborn on February 3, 1918 in Savoy, Illinois to George and Margaret (Murphy) Osborn. The family moved to Yakima in 1928 where he met his future wife, Fawn Cox. They were married in Yakima on May 17th, 1941 and moved to Buckley in 1945. There they raised their three children, building lasting memories of camping, outings with friends, dancing, and large family dinners and gatherings as the family grew. Lee was active all of his life, giving much to the community. He was a volunteer Buckley fireman for 15 years, served on the Buckley City Council and joined the Buckley Eagles in 1947 where he served as President in 1951-52 and Treasurer for many years. He was also Worshipful Master of the Masons in 1973, a member of the Community Memorial Hospital Board for 15 years and a member of Teamsters Local #174. He loved bowling and belonged to several leagues. He loved people, doing, going and serving - always with a smile. He began his work history in the Yakima apple orchards then joined the CCCs where he learned to run logging equipment. He was a cat skinner, building roads for many years. Lee finished his working career driving fuel trucks for Max Toney Union Oil in Enumclaw. After retiring, he and his wife Fawn of 51 years, enjoyed traveling in their trailer, camping, clam digging, friends and their family until her death in 1992.
