The funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Fickert's chapel, to be followed by interment at Oak Hill. Mrs. Derry was born at Hanford, May 20, 1887 but had spent many years of her life in Tehama county. Her first husband, the late Sullivan Osborn, was a member of the well known Osborn family of the Flournoy district. At one time Mrs. Osborn served as county clerk of Butte County. She is survived by four half-sisters, Mrs. George Weaver of Oakland, Mrs. Harold Clausen, Mrs. Rolin Eslinger and Mrs. Mildred Sweeney, all of Red Bluff and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Grover Randolph of Corning. "Daily News" (Red Bluff, California), Tuesday, 13 January 1953 Funeral Is Held For Clara Derry The funeral service for Mrs. Clara Osborn Derry, who died at a Red Bluff hospital, Jan. 9, following a long illness, was held at 3 p.m., yesterday at the Fickert chapel. The Rev. Robert Rankin, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Wesley Heitman, accompanied by Doris Heitman, sang, "The Great Physician." Interment was made on the family plot at Oak Hill. Pallbearers were Robert Eslinger, Donald Klausen, Ralph Eslinger, Leslie King, Melvin Osborn and Carl Woodruff. - Transcribed by E.
