Description	:	Obituary found in the Bluffton News Banner, Bluffton, Indiana, January 25, 1933 Mrs. Arminda Redding, 78, widow of Nathan Redding, a Civil war veteran, died at 10 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Robert Gordon, Rockcreek township. She had been in poor health the past two years, but did not become seriously ill until five weeks ago when heart complications developed. She had been a resident of Wells county since 1870. Read More	Obituary found in the Bluffton News Banner, Bluffton, Indiana, January 25, 1933 Mrs. Arminda Redding, 78, widow of Nathan Redding, a Civil war veteran, died at 10 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Robert Gordon, Rockcreek township. She had been in poor health the past two years, but did not become seriously ill until five weeks ago when heart complications developed. She had been a resident of Wells county since 1870. She was born in Wilkes county, North Carolina, on September 30, 1854, a daughter of Daniel and Clarissa Sale McBride. Her marriage to Nathan Redding took place in North Carolina in 1870. That same year she and her husband came to Wells county. He preceded her in death on April 3. 1930. Mr Redding was a Civil War Veteran. Two sons and two daughters surviving are Mrs. John Kimmer and Mrs Robert Gordon, both of Rockcreek township; Earl Redding, Rockcreek township, and Harry Redding, Columbus, O. Daniel McBride, near Markle, is a brother. One brother and four sisters are deceased. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive. Mrs. Redding was a member of the M. E. church in this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Rockford M.E. church in charge of Rev. F. F. Hubbart, this city. Burial will be in the Rockford Cemetery.
