Obituary: (furnished by Connie Jo at findagrave.com) MRS. CLARA MCWILLIAMS - Mrs. Clara Catherine McWilliams wife of R.H. McWilliams of Garfield township, was born on March 1, 1864, in the state of Ohio and died at Abbott hospital in Oskaloosa at 3:05 o'clock Thursday afternoon, October 20, 1932, at the age of 68 years, seven months and 19 days. She came to Iowa from Ohio with her parents as an infant and settled in Mahaska county where she made her home until her death. She was married to R.H. McWilliams of Mahaska county who survives on February 2, 1890. To this union were born six children who are living, two daughters, Mrs. Yula Flanders of Chillicothe, Mrs. Wilma Hoyt of Oskaloosa, and four sons, Kenneth, Firman, Roy and Harold McWilliams all of Oskaloosa. Besides her husband, Mrs. McWilliams is survived by two sisters Mrs. Mary Pink Williamson of Galesburg, Ill., and Miss Alberta Ellsworth of Oskaloosa, three brothers, James and Elmer Ellsworth of Oskaloosa and Chris Ellsworth of Manitou, Okla., and 14 grandchildren in addition to a number of other relatives. Funeral services were held in Wilcox-Garland chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 22, with Rev. M.H. Williams in charge. Roy Jenkins and E.R Raffety provide vocal selections during the services. Burial was in Beacon Cemetery.
