Description	:	CLARKS — Clara Dorothy Zoucha, 92, of Clarks died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks, with the Rev. Richard Whiteing officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery near Clarks. Solt Funeral Home of Central City is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Zoucha was born July 2, 1922, in rural Nance County to Phillip and Anna (Boro) Zegar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert on June 14, 2002. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy Brown, Laurie and Jim Wruble, all of Clarks, and Marilyn and Rob Arnold of Grand Island; a son, Jim Zoucha of Orchard; and one sister, Monica Zoucha. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Pamela Hayes, Patty Mulinix, Molly Meister, Jeff Brown, Jaime Collins, Danny Zoucha, Dillon Zoucha, Steven Wruble, Alyson Weathers, Tennile Arnold and Kent Arnold; and several nieces and nephews. She lived in Nance County as a child and attended the Sister's School in Krakow. After schooling, Clara lived at her sister Lillian's helping to raise her nieces and nephews, as well as helping out anyone in the area who needed it. Clara then moved to Buffalo, N.Y., with her soon to be husband. Clara and Lambert Ambrose Zoucha were married at Immaculate Conception Church in Buffalo on Aug. 20, 1942. They remained in Buffalo until 1945 when they decided to move back to the farm just west of Clarks. This is where Clara and Lambert made their home, and raised their four children. Clara remained on the farm until her death. Clara was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks, as well as the Alter Society. She enjoyed her flowers, mowing, and often donated to several missions around the world. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Anna Zegar; one granddaughter, Audra Brown; one son-in-law, Robert Brown; three sisters, Lillian Kuhn, Mary Chohon and Rose Beck; two brothers, Virgil Zegar and Henry Zegar; and one stepbrother, Alex Olson.
