She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Arbor Vitae Chapter 92, Order of Eastern Star. Clara E. Haney, 99, of Fremont passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 in Nye Legacy, Fremont. Clara was preceded by her husband James in October of 1993 and by brothers Harry, Ted, Roy, Carl, Elmer, Arnold and Ray; and sister Harriet and an infant sister. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Glenda (Donald) Gilbertson, Independence, MO; son, Ed (Sharyl) Haney, Fremont; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Alyce Wilke, Fremont. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be Thursday, June 21st, 3 to 7:45 PM, with an Eastern Star Service (open to the public) at 7:45PM. A graveside service will be 1:30 PM Friday afternoon in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Masonic-Eastern Home for Children in Fremont.
