Description	:	CLARA ELECTA COFFELT Clara Electa, daughter of Joseph and Ellen Lane, was born in Shelby County, August 15, 1884, and departed this life on June 3, 1947, at the Decatur County Hospital at the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 19 days. She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when a young girl and remained a faithful member throughout her life. Read More	CLARA ELECTA COFFELT Clara Electa, daughter of Joseph and Ellen Lane, was born in Shelby County, August 15, 1884, and departed this life on June 3, 1947, at the Decatur County Hospital at the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 19 days. She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when a young girl and remained a faithful member throughout her life. With her family, she moved to Midway County, Mo., and lived there until 1902 when she was united in marriage to Emmett James Coffelt. They moved to Decatur County in 1906. Four children, three sons, and a daughter were born to the union. She spent her entire life in the home devoting her full time to the welfare of her family, always giving them the fullest and deepest love. They remained her first consideration even during the 7 years of sickness preceding her death. She leaves to mourn her departure the devoted husband and three children, Orville E., of Leon; Shubeal C. of Davenport, and Mrs. Virgil Martin, of Newton. A son, Hessel, preceded her in death. Survivors also include seven grandchildren, Twyla and Gary Thomas, Donna Jean Coffelt, Monte G. and Ersel S. Coffelt, Alice Clara and Timothy James Martin; sister, Mrs. David Lewis, of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Edwin and Frank Lane, of Lamoni, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday afternoon, June 6, at the Marsh Chapel here. Elder Arthur Lane was the officiating minister. CARD OF THANKS Words cannot express our appreciation for the many kind acts extended to us in the loss of our loved one. We wish to acknowledge each with thanks and grateful appreciation.
