Surviving is her husband, Harold, five children- Judith (John) Hite of Delta Junction. Alaska. Marcia (Bob) Orr of Frankfort. Ill, Debra (Michael) Miller of Anamosa. Dr Gary (Katie) Eiben of Colesburg. Rick (Leslie) Eiben of Cedar Rapids, 16 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents., a son, Larry, on August 7, 2008, a granddaughter , Melissa Eiben; a sister, Jean Hoffenbecker; and a brother. Jack Hubbard. Clara E Hubbard was born December 7,1922, in Anamosa. She was the daughter of Ernest and Edith (Hoult) Hubbard. She received her education in the Anamosa Schools. Clara married Ernest Bohlken on October 18, 1942, at Kahoka, Missouri. He was killed in France during WWII on December 4,1944. The couple had a daughter, Judith. On June 20. 1946, Clara Hubbard Bohlken and Harold Eiben were married at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. The couple lived for five years in Anamosa then farmed for 28 years near Langworthy. In 1983, they and their three dogs started traveling the United States in their motor home. In 1999, the couple reestablished a home in Anamosa. In August of 2007, health issues caused Clara to move to the Anamosa Care Center.
