CARL HENNING Clara Georgia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Clemons, was born on March 30, 1901, on the home place near Jamestown, Kansas. For several months she has been in failing health of a heart ailment, and all that medical skill and loving hands could do was of no avail and she passed to her eternal home at the Community hospital in Beloit where she had been a patient for twenty-three days, on Dec. 10, 1944, at the age of 43 years, 8 months and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Carl E. Henning, June 6, 1923, at the home of her parents. Carl and Clara have resided in the Macyville neighborhood all their married life. They took her nephew, Freddie White, into their home and cared for him as their own. She united with the Lutheran church in Glasco April 1, 1934, and attended services regularly when her health permitted. Her father, mother, and sister Myrtle preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband and Freddie White; one brother, Roy Clemons of Concordia; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Cole, Ocean Springs, Miss.; Mrs. Esther Joplin, Graham, Texas; and Mrs. Alma Henning of Glasco, Kansas. To know her was to love her and she will be missed in the home by her inseparable companion and by other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Glasco Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 13, the Rev. Geo. Eller in charge. Interment was at Fairview cemetery, Jamestown.
