Description	:	November 30, 1915 - September 10, 2006 Funeral services for Clara I. Mehlhaff were held Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at 2 p.m., at West Prairie Lutheran Church, Lennox, with the Rev. Erika Lehmann officiating. Music was furnished by the congregation, Rev. Erika Lehmann, soloist, and Helen Sweeter, organist. Interment was made in the West Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, Lennox, with Anderson Funeral Home, Canton, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Richard Radel, Edgar Goehring, Douglas Hartman, David Miles, George Bovill, and Ernest Stratmeyer. Clara I. Mehlhaff was born November 30, 1915, on a farm near Tripp to Christian and Rosina (Link) Hahn. She attended country parochial school near Tripp and later in Tripp. She was united in marriage to Reinhold E. Mehlhaff of Olivet on December 1, 1935. They lived in Hutchinson County until 1943 when they moved to Lincoln County. In 1950 they moved to their present farm home, where she has since resided. Her husband died April 5, 1995. She was a member of West Prairie Lutheran Church. She died Sunday, Sept. 10, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, at the age of 90 years. She is survived by two sons, Bob (Connie), Sioux Falls, and Richard, Worthing; one grandson, Jeremy, Charleston-Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; and a special friend, Jo Stratmeyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reinhold. Parkston Advance
