Description	:	Funeral services for Clara K. Lafrenz, 80, of Creighton were held Monday, June 7 at Brockhaus Hengstler Funeral Home in Creighton at 2:30 p.m. Clergyman was Rev. Paul Banitt. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Moeller, A.J. Beck, Bernard Hasenpflug, Willard Moeller, Albert Krugman and Dale Hilkemeier. Clara Katherine Lafrenz was born on December 2, 1901 at Grand Island to Hans and Anna Schroeder and passed away at Bloomfield Good Samaritan Home on June 4, 1982 having attained the age of 80 years, six months and two days. Clara Katherine Lafrenz was born on December 2, 1901 at Grand Island to Hans and Anna Schroeder and passed away at Bloomfield Good Samaritan Home on June 4, 1982 having attained the age of 80 years, six months and two days. While still a small child she moved with her family to Niobrara where she resided on the family farm and attended rural school district #88. After graduation from the eighth grade she worked as a domestic. She was united in marriage to Henry C. Lafrenz in July 1825 and they established their home in Center. Two children were born to this union. Henry was called to his heavenly home in April 1943 and Clara and her daughters continued to live in Center. After a numbers of years Clara re-established her home in Creighton and remained there until her death. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Creighton. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gale (Elaine) Darling of Hastings and Mrs. E.W. (Jean) Stokes of Creighton, one grandchild, Bradley Stokes of Monterey, Calif., a sister, Mrs. J. Moeller of Yankton, S.D. and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and one sister.
