The Rev. Fr. Chester Cymanski will officiate and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Gahan funeral home from noon Wednesday till 3 p.m. when it will be taken to the family residence, 1722 Sixth street, there to lie in state until the services. Members of St. Theresa's sodality will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the home, and relatives and friends will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Koziol, nee Clara Krzycki, was born Sept. 7, 1902 in Merrick county. While a child she moved with her parents, Paul and Catherine Gembica Krzycki, to Sherman county and she attended schools there. Her marriage to Joseph Koziol took place Nov. 3, 1925 in SS. Peter and Paul church, Krakow, and since that time they made their home in this vicinity. The family has lived in Columbus since 1939. A member of St. Anthony's church, Mrs. Koziol was also a member of St. Theresa's sodality and the local American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Sister M. Marcella of Lincoln, and Evelyn at home; four sons, Leonard of Omaha; Albin in the navy, now stationed in Alaska; Benny and Alfred at home; two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krzycki of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Martin Borowiak of Silver Creek; four brothers, Louis of Omaha, Phillip of Genoa, Charles and Leo of Columbus. Mrs. Koziol was preceded in death by two chidren who died in infancy, and one sister. --------------- The Columbus Daily Telegram, January 18 (?), 1951 KOZIOL--Services Held - Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Koziol, 48, who died of a heart attack Monday noon, were held at 9 a.m. today in St. Anthony's Catholic church. The Rev. Fr. hester Cymanski officiated. Pallbearers were: Ed, Ted and Edwin Krzycki, Edmund Borowiak, Tom Rinkol and Leo Szatko. Members of St. Theresa's sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary acted as honorary escorts. Out-of-town relatives and friends attending were from: Greeley, Fullerton, Silver Creek, Albion, Tarnov, Duncan, Genoa, Platte Center, Richland, Schuyler and Omaha. Committal services are pending the arrival of Mrs. Koziol's son, Albin Koziol, USN, from Alaska.
