Description	:	Clara L. Bracy was born in Maynard In April, 1896, and died Aug. 16, 1918, at her home southeast of Maynard, aged twenty-two years, three months, and twenty-six days. She grew to womanhood in Maynard and was graduated from the Maynard high school in 1913, and since that time has been a successful teacher in the public schools. On Oct 5, 1917, she was married to Ward Vincent Masters, and this spring they began house keeping on the groom's father's farm four miles southeast of Maynard. Bracy was born in Maynard In April, 1896, and died Aug. 16, 1918, at her home southeast of Maynard, aged twenty-two years, three months, and twenty-six days. She grew to womanhood in Maynard and was graduated from the Maynard high school in 1913, and since that time has been a successful teacher in the public schools. On Oct 5, 1917, she was married to Ward Vincent Masters, and this spring they began house keeping on the groom's father's farm four miles southeast of Maynard. The new home was one where love and happiness were supreme, and that the death angel should visit it within the first year and take from it the newborn babe and the mother has stricken the father and husband with grief and brought sorrow to the many relatives and friends. Mrs. Masters was a regular attendant of the Presb- yterian Sunday school and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star . She was a young lady of splendid character and refinement, who made hosts of friends in her social circle. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bracy; two brothers, Elmer and Harry, and one sister, Edna; a grandmother, Mrs. M. A. Goodrich; and a large number of friends who wish to extend their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved husband and other relatives. The funeral was held from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, Aug. 18, at 2 o'clock, Rev. F . 0 . Hillman officiating.
